Starting from 1st of April you can apply to your national
branch to short - term international voluntary projects
(workcamps) in dozens of countries in the World - also
in Poland. You can find all SCI
projects here.

| One World Association - the first
laureate of the Sergio Vieira de Mello Prize |
We have the pleasure to announce
that on 30th September 2004 One World Association - SCI
Poland became the first laureate of the Sergio Vieira de
Mello Prize for outstanding efforts and achievements in
building peaceful cohabitation of communities, religions
and cultures. The prize is given annually to one NGO and
one individual. OWA had the honour to receive the prize
together with the former Polish Prime Minister, Tadeusz
Mazowiecki.
Sergio Vieira de Mello Prize. Promoting tolerance and fighting
xenophobia.
The Sergio Vieira de Mello Prize is given to persons and
non-governmental organizations for their outstanding efforts
and achievements in building peaceful cohabitation of communities,
religions and cultures. The first edition of the Prize took
place in Villa Decius in Krakow, Poland, on the 30th September
2004.
