Our mission is to promote peace and understanding among people through international and local voluntary service and education. [more]
The YOUTH programme is one of the European Union programmes targeting young people aged between 15 and 25. This Programme enables the participants the realization of their ideas, participation in projects both in Poland and abroad, as well as gathering new experiences and learning new skills. This Programme addresses especially young people with less opportunities.

The Programme offers financial support for the projects, help in making international contacts, training courses for youth workers, youth leaders, the representatives of non-governmental organizations etc.

In Poland the Programme is coordinated by the Polish YOUTH National Agency which operates through a net of Regional centers and Resource centers.

The Programme comprises five actions:
Action 1 - Youth for Europe - international youth group exchanges;
Action 2 - The European Voluntary Service - individual voluntary work abroad.
Action 3 - Youth Initiatives - projects organized by youth groups at local level.
Action 4 - Joint Actions - projects which combine the Socrates, Leonardo da Vinci and
YOUTH programmes.
Action 5 - Support Measures - actions that support the other four Actions of the Programme

Since 2002 the One World association is a Regional center of the Polish YOUTH National Agency .

As a Regional center, we are organizing:
meetings during which introductory information about the YOUTH programme is presented,
individual consultations,
training courses about the YOUTH programme,
giving out information materials.

We are paying particular attention to involving into the projects young people with less opportunities. This applies especially to the European Voluntary Service projects and to the international exchanges.

We wish to invite:
non-governmental organizations, institutions, schools and other organizations working with or for young people,
