The morning started with the tolerance workshop which included blind game as well as the game where we were drawing our borders of tolerance. It was a really interesting experience to know other people’s borders, thoughts and to have an opportunity to talk about it honestly. In the afternoon we continued with the camera workshop where we got a chance to see two movies that will be helpful in our project in making documentary. The evening finished with Polish dinner and representation of

It was an interesting day, we learned a lot about how to compose stories and we realized that all of us is able to make a scenario, so I think we've got more confident. In the afternoon's session we discussed our ideas for the films and later we made the groups for each theme. It took a bit more time than I expected but finally everybody found a group and a task, so we're all excited to start working.

I really enjoy it even if it was really difficult all this brain storming activity. And I m now happy that we all found an interesting idea for a short movie. Even if I know it will be hard I m really looking forward the filming and editing part of the movie. So it was a nice day for me.

Working with mentally disabled people- or more, just being with them- was a great opportunity to us. The workers of the daily center did their best at presenting their work and bonded us with the users of centre’s services in a very nice way - through games and mutual cooperation. To the majority of us it was the first time to meet people with special needs but we feel, that it went quite well. For some of our participants it was better than they had expected. After a sudden change of plans when visit to NGO was cancelled we finally had some free time that we mostly used for visiting the city a bit. Later we spent our dinner outside in a pizzeria, that for some participants was a special "event" which we left with happy faces. Then we’ve had our first reflexion session, which seemed to be useful and lots of dilemmas were discussed, and now we are facing to a brighter future in this youth exchange.

Today we continued movie making. It was funny, because some people asked us about how much money we give them for answering. When we said no, they walked away. Taking care about composition, lights, and voice at the same time is a little bit exhausting work for beginners. But we solved it.
The antidiscrimination workshop was very creative. We can have an experience how the people in a minority or outside of a community feel. Now we are waiting for the Slovenian evening.
In the expectancy of the other half of the slovenian evening, I'm writing to you my feelings of this 7th day of the youth exchange.
The morning started with filming. Or at least, that's where most of the thoughts were during a silent breakfast. Katja (I'm not sure about the spelling, sorry!) came to give us a hand by sharing her views of our material and after we felt once again enlightened (or paniqued...). OUr group's expectancys for the next interview, which was still needed, were high.
After the filming, we had luxurious slovenian lunch since dessert, pancakes, were included. Then at 3 pm. sharp Laetetia came and brought a fresh breeze from the SCI world with her workshop about antidiscrimination. I guess everybody felt the same, changing ideas after the intense filming was needed, so everybody participated to the workshop. The games opened us up to discussion and it was a quite emotional one. We talked about our personal experiences and I myself learnt e.g. how discrimation can sometimes be also unintentional and how to try to be more aware of it. I hope the discussion continued in an antidiscriminational atmosphere, I don't know since I hit the sack...
So, I'm ending this letter in great hopes of grandiose ending for the slovenian evening! The national dishes were tasty and I think I saw something in the oven...
